While checking out
Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective at the Denver Art Museum, I had the unexpected pleasure of peeking into the personal collection of pins worn by Madeleine Albright. I don't think anyone in history had to be more thoughtful when selecting her jewelry. She shook up politics when she wore a snake pin in response to Iraq's government-controlled press publishing a poem denouncing her as an "unparalleled serpent." Albright's pins came to be more of a statement than her actual words. As the
first female Secretary of State and the highest ranking women in the history of the US Government, it's absolutely fitting that she would
