COLOR: Black & White

THE IDEA

Simply put, BLACK + WHITE is the new black. The ultimate contrast, this monochromatic combo is the epitome of tailored sophistication. If done right, it can transition into a casual, contemporary, even avante garde look that feels fresh and exciting. Mostly seen in eveningwear, jewelry is the ideal market to experiment with these opposing shades of color-vacancy.

HOW TO STYLE

A single pearl on a bed of black onyx feels natural (Rena Luxx), while two-toned, multi-strands of black and white pearls is formal (Ben Amun). This looks shines when playing with color blocking. A diagonal division of color (Dannijo) is youthful, and the exotic stingray skin creates added interest with texture for the contemporary market. A cluster of black and white spikes reflects the harsh contrast of the two colors (Ashley Pittman).
