EVENT: Four Corners Gem & Mineral Show

There's nothing that gets my heart pumping faster than sifting through piles of crystals, stones, gems, geodes, minerals, fossils, and petrified artifacts. In fact, I think I'd fair pretty well under the harsh conditions of being a miner if it meant that I could excavate mother natures finest treasures every day. #biglove

Anywayyyy I had the emense pleasure of catching the Four Corners Gem & Mineral Show while in Durango, CO last weekend. A great opportunity to source materials for some upcoming designs for my jewelry line, Androgyny Jewelry, and thought I'd share with you. 

The show brought together over 40 vendors, some of who are miners themselves, like John Be Crystals from Arkansas.

My favorite vendor of the day was John of Enhancing the Stone. His out-of-this-world sculptures are inlaid with semi-precious gem stones, and are truly S T U N N I N G. Each piece takes about 3 months of intricate labor. John and Meg also one-of-a-kind jewelry, gold nuggets, and more!
