Last week I had the massive pleasure of attending POOL TRADESHOW as a trend curator, along with Reinaldo Irizarry of Reyal Fashion for TREND TANK.
POOL brings together a well rounded mix of fresh talent with established brands, making it the place to shop for the boutique market. Trend Tank is an initiative that connects buyers and guests with the designers by guiding them through the show floor using four overarching trends. The boards grew as Reinaldo and I explored the show and brought back our finds.
Trend Tank was successful in sparking conversations about the direction of the upcoming seasons, as well as how trends can be incorporated in specific elements of a designers medium. It was exciting to represent as a voice for where fashion is headed and it solidified my passion for connecting the dots.
